On the Drawing Board: SIPANLOG – A New Filipino Fast Food Concept. Launching Soon! KOYA SIPANLOG EXPRESS.

What is Koya Sipanlog Express all about?

Why KOYA? Koya originates from the Filipino word “Kuya,” which means big brother. A Kuya plays a significant role in a Filipino family, often serving as the head of the household in the absence of a father.

What is SIPANLOG? Sipanlog, a Filipino side dish, merges three staple ingredients: sinangag (fried rice), pancit (noodles), and itlog (eggs). It’s a fusion dish that combines these elements to form a flavorful side dish alongside a main meat entree or as a satisfying meal on its own. The term “Sipanlog” is a contraction of these Filipino words, simplifying its reference.

Why EXPRESS? An “Express” food establishment typically features a smaller space, fewer seats, and focuses mainly on serving customers who order food to go. These restaurants can be advantageous for a company as they enable the addition of more storefronts in areas with limited prime locations. Service tends to be speedy since the food is readily displayed, and customers simply point to their desired items for purchase.
